PROGRAMME AIM
The Diploma programme has the following aims:
· To provide an opportunity for students to develop a general grasp of business related knowledge in organisational management.
· To prepare students intellectually and practically for effective performance in their place of work / employment.
· To develop in students an understanding of the issues of management and business processes including the interrelationship between the core functional areas of an organisations, relative to particular sectors whether public or private.
· To develop specialised knowledge in a particular field of business such as marketing and management to enable students to assume greater specialisation in their place of employment.
· To enable students to gain entry into the final year of an honours degree programmes.
The broad aim therefore is to develop graduates with a range of knowledge and skills directly relevant to the working environment and to cater to the interests of students wishing to specialise in a specific functional area in Management or Marketing at the honours degree level should they choose to continue their further studies
AWARDS
Students who complete eight modules from the Diploma stage 2 will be awarded Raffles Diploma in Management (120 credit points) and upon completion of the remaining eight Advanced Diploma modules (120 credit points) will be awarded Raffles Advanced Diploma in their chosen pathways.
Students who have successfully completed the Advanced Diploma are eligible to gain direct entry into the final year of Bachelor of Business Management (BABM) awarded by Nottingham Trent University, UK.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Students with only O levels or its equivalent will undertake Diploma Stage 1 consisting of 4 modules which can be completed over a period of 4 months of intensive study. Upon completion of Stage 1, successful students will progress to Stage 2 of the Diploma.
Students with A Levels or equivalent qualifications and mature students of age 21 years and above with working experience will proceed directly into Stage 2 of the Diploma programme
Upon successful completion of Stage 2 of the Diploma, students can proceed on to the Advanced Diploma with a choice of either Management Studies or Marketing
