The Certificate Programme in Purchasing and Supply

 

PROGRAMME AIM

 

The Certificate Programme in Purchasing and Supply is a level 3 qualification regulated by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA). It is of particular benefit to new recruits to purchasing, procurement, stores control, contracts, logistics and distribution. Equally, if someone has been working in these areas for some time, but have never had the opportunity to take a course of study and gain a qualification this programme is a useful starting point.

The Certificate in Purchasing and Supply has five modules.

·        Unit 2   Selecting the Right Supplier

·        Unit 3   Effective Negotiation in Purchasing and Supply

·        Unit 4   Managing Inventory

·        Unit 5   The Business Environment for Purchasing and Supply

Entry Requirements for the Certificate Programme

 

There are no entry requirements to join the Certificate Programme. The qualification is progressive and therefore students must complete the Certificate before embarking on the Advanced Certificate.
