PROGRAMME AIM
The Advanced Diploma programmes have the following aims:
· To provide an opportunity for students to develop a general grasp of business related knowledge in organisational management.
· To prepare students intellectually and practically for effective performance in their place of work / employment.
· To develop in students an understanding of the issues of management and business processes including the interrelationship between the core functional areas of an organisations, relative to particular sectors whether public or private.
· To develop specialised knowledge in a particular field of business such as marketing and management to enable students to assume greater specialisation in their place of employment.
· To enable students to gain entry into the final year of an honours degree programmes.
The broad aim therefore is to develop graduates with a range of knowledge and skills directly relevant to the working environment and to cater to the interests of students wishing to specialise in a specific functional area in Management or Marketing at the honours degree level should they choose to continue their further studies
AWARDS
Upon completion of the remaining eight Advanced Diploma modules (120 credit points) will be awarded Raffles Advanced Diploma in their chosen pathways.
Students who have successfully completed the Advanced Diploma are eligible to gain direct entry into the final year of Bachelor of Business Management (BABM) awarded by Nottingham Trent University, UK.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Upon successful completion of Stage 2 of the Diploma, students can proceed on to the Advanced Diploma with a choice of either Management Studies or Marketing. Students with equivalent to a diploma stage 2 from other recognised schools could also be considered for admission.
As the medium of instruction is the English language, applicants are required to produce evidence of English Proficiency acceptable to the Admission Office.
Raffles Academy will use the British Council’s Course equivalent qualification guide for overseas countries to ensure compatibility of entry requirements.
