Student's Pass Application Procedure
 
 Application for Student Pass (SP)

 

1)     Applicant has to pay registration fees and sponsorship fee and fill up the enrolment and immigration (ICA) forms, which can be downloaded from: http://app.ica.gov.sg/download.asp (please scroll down to find the SP forms). Form V36A would be completed by the school. In addition, applicant is to produce to the school all his/her documents for verification

  

2)     After the applicant has completed the forms and together with all the Basic and Supporting documents, the School will submit the application & documents through any of the Drop-In-Boxes located at ICA Building on behalf of the student.

  

3)     Once submission has been done, applicant and school have to wait for about 4 to 6 weeks to know whether the SP application has been approved.

  

4)     ICA will inform the school with regards to the approval of the application. Upon receiving the approval letter, the school will call the applicant for he/she has to go for medical check-up.

  

5)     The school and the applicant are to furnish and bring along the original documents to ICA. Upon a satisfactory submission, SP card will be issued on the following day. The school will collect the card, a photocopy of SP card will be made and the original will be handed over to the applicant.

 Cancellation of Student Pass

 

Foreign students should surrender their Student’s Passes for cancellation within 7 days from the date of cessation or termination of their study

 

Documents to be produced are:

 

·         A letter from the student/local sponsor about the cancellation of the Student’s Passes

·         Confirmed ticket

·         Applicant’s valid travel document

·         Disembarkation/Embarkation Card

·         Student’s Pass
