Accommodation for Students

Student Services Coordinator offers free, friendly service to help students find the right place to live in Singapore . Our experienced staff are familiar with dealing in many aspects of student’s accommodation needs.

There are two types of accommodation to suit needs, tastes and budgets.
  a. Registered private sector

  b. Hostel

Our school does not own or manage any property. Registered private sector and hostel are the preferred type of accommodation for most students.

If a student is unable to find the information they are looking for, our staff are happy to answer questions by phone, fax or e-mail.

 Types of Accommodation

 Private sector houses/HDB Flats

Students may rent a room in a house on an individual basis or share the responsibility of renting a whole house with other students. Typically, student houses are rented by three to five students, often with joint financial responsibility for paying gas, electricity and water. Each occupant usually has a bedroom of their own and shares the kitchen, dinning room and bathroom with all the rest.

 Individual flats/Rooms

There is a limited availability of individual flats or rooms. Individual flats come with their own kitchen, living and bathroom facilities. Individual rooms come with an attached bathroom but shared kitchen and living rooms. These tend to be a more costly option. If a student requires this type of accommodation we would recommend them to contact local estate agents.

 Hostels

We usually recommend hostels that are located near to the school. Typically, they offer single and double bedrooms with shared toilet, bathroom and kitchen facilities.

Costs are from $350 - $800 for contract lengths of a minimum 6 months period.
